Pastor Dan Moll was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and doesn’t remember a time when he didn’t want to be a pastor. Attending Lutheran schools for his entire education, he ultimately graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in 2004. Upon his graduation, he was assigned to serve as Gethsemane’s pastor. So he left the land of cheese and beer and moved to the land of trees and beer.
He brought with him his wife, Mandy, and sons, Silas and Phinehas. Their one native Oregonian, Amos, was added a couple of years later. In addition to sons, the Molls also have a lovely dog. Planning to always have a dog, they share the sentiments of Martin Luther when he stated:
When Pastor Moll isn’t working at church or reaching out with the Gospel to the people of Tigard, he enjoy long walks with his wife and dog, helping coach his boys’ sports teams, camping all across the country, growing his beard, and watching the Wisconsin Badgers.
